4FRNT CODY 2015 MENS SKIS
Part of 4FRNT's Signature series of rider-inspired and designed pro models, the Cody comes from the mind of pro skier Cody Barnhill. 4FRNT classifies the Cody as an all-mountain twintip. At 100 mm underfoot, it's right in the sweet spot for an advanced or expert all-mountain ski. Its modern design includes rocker and tapered tips and tails for a looser, more playful feel, and soft snow performance. Camber underfoot and a fairly tight turning radius provides the backbone for its hard and mixed-snow capabilities. It's built with a wood core and semi-cap construction. Utah-based 4FRNT was founded in 2002 by pro skier Matt Sterbenz and has been rider-owned and operated ever since. The Cody, along with many of 4FRNT's skis, is built in the Elan factory in Slovenia.
TAPERED ROCKER: A lengthened tip shape where the rocker meets camber and the sidecut starts.
TIP/TAIL TAPER: The neutral sidecut length at the tip and tails' widest dimension.
TWIN TIP: The tail of the ski is also upturned to allow for switch skiing and landings.
DIRECTIONAL: A directional shape that gives the ski a more consistent feel.
ALL MOUNTAIN SHAPE: When you are looking for a one-ski-quiver, look no further than this all-mountain ski.
MEGA-BLOCK CORE: Ash and Beech come together to form our most dense and damp core for the best in all-mountain dominance.
SEMI-CAP LAMINATE: Partially wraps the topsheet around the sidewall for additional durability.
SINTERED BASE WITH PERL WAX: Purl Wax is based out of Colorado and is made from renewable and natural sources. 4FRNT chooses to wax their bases with Purl Ice-9 wax because it is 100% biodegradable, petroleum free, and keeps nasty PFCs out of human bodies and watersheds.
FULL WRAP EDGE: For maximum durability.
DIMENSIONS: 126/100/124mm @ 179cm.
